Google Launches Disavow Tool for low Quality Backlinks

SEO WILL ROCK AGAIN WITH HIGH QUALITY BACKLINKS.

This is a brilliant tool. My first thought was that they will change the algorithm, and make it, instead of penalizing you for getting non-related backlinks to ignore those backlinks and don't get penalized. But with this tool they can continue their purpose for making the web cleaner.

Could Guest Posting Be Dead?

Many SEO’s have been frantically submitting guest posts to 100′s of sites in hopes to boost their clients SEO with good links..  But are those links valuable?

AJ Kohn asked Matt, “What is Google’s view on guest blogging for links?”

Matt Cutts put the answer that question

No, guest posting is not dead for most people. Matt outlines some very simple principles of guest posting that I think everyone out there should pay attention to.

Spinning articles for guest posting will not help. It’s just like and article farm—no rankings—and sometimes negative rankings for this.

Writing crappy articles will not help.

Writing short articles of 200, 300, and 400 words will not help as much. The longer the better.

Having no Google Authorship will not help as much, you need to be known a little better.

Quality—it all comes down to quality. Make sure you’re putting time and effort into your posts.

All the blog posts are 100 percent unique and something new, but every post has something unique to me and my experience.

Exact Match Domain (EMD) algorithm update

According to the numbers & charts, Google released the Exact Match Domain (EMD) algorithm update, and almost every web-master has seen the traffic loss in his charts, but mostly takes it as normal weekend traffic bump. But, later things turned into worse with clear signals to the release of Google Exact Domain algorithm update on the weekend. On the launch of new changes in the Google Exact Domain algorithm, the front face of Google Web Spam Team, Matt Cutts tweeted weekend’s weather forecast of the search engine, in which he clearly mentions the changes and effects towards the webmasters with big portals.

It’s not about low quality & high quality content.
It’s not about the incoming links to your websites.
It is about the mixture of your targeted keywords.
It focuses on your profile in the niche.
Depends on the authority of your page.

Matt Cutts tweets

Minor weather report: small upcoming Google algo change will reduce low-quality “exact-match” domains in search results.

New exact-match domain (EMD) algo affects 0.6% of English-US queries to a noticeable degree. Unrelated to Panda/Penguin.

SEO community have suggests the new changes are for those who have more targeted keywords in their domains, and they are also ranking well on the major relevant keywords.
